Our principal service of worship on Sunday mornings is the Holy Eucharist, or the Mass. Our regular schedule is a Low Mass (with no music) at 8am, followed by a Choral Mass (with full choir) at 10:30am. On Saturday evening there is a Low Mass at 5pm.
During the Summer (from Father’s Day until Labor Day) there is only one Sung Mass on Sunday at 9:30am and one Low Mass on Saturday evening at 5pm.
Worship at The Church of The Ascension is very traditional and Anglo-Catholic in style. We use traditional language prayers from the Book of Common Prayer and many elements of traditional catholic ceremonial. Worship bulletins and prayer books are provided to guide you through the service, but feel free to participate at whatever level you feel comfortable. All baptized Christians are welcomed to receive holy communion in our church.
